Numerico develops AI planning, a combination of Artificial Intelligence, simulation and workflow automation. In 2020 we deployed our platform for the Dutch Road Authority, which has become the National solution for incident management in 2021, rolled out nationwide. We have then extended our platform to support other real-time, on demand planning for logistics and delivery customers.

Data Engineer/Python Developer

We are looking for a data engineer/python developer that knows what a shapefile is. You will be working with preparing data files for our simulator environment and doing development work on the simulator stack.
Our software simulates the process of incident response in the physical world and tries to find optimal configurations that improve response time and efficiency. We apply AI methods to predict where incidents will occur and what the response time will be under different circumstances and optimising assignment and deployment choices.

Java/Full Stack Developer

We are currently looking for a Java Engineer in the Netherlands, with an interest in Full Stack development. As a Java Software Engineer you will join our team of broadly skilled technicians, and work on an AI product in the area of Incident Prediction. Maintaining, expanding and deploying Java micro services is done with the use of DevOps, where you share a common understanding of continuous integration processes and test automation. You share a solid understanding of web technologies and protocols, which helps you in securing your software and make optimum use of the infrastructure.
Besides being a passionate Java coder, you get as thrilled as most of us do from learning new tools, technologies, code design patterns and possibly even new languages.
You thrive in an expanding team where agility, flexibility and communication are crucial. Your week-to-week job is a broad mixture of developing, maintaining and deploying Java micro services while implementing new features for our product.
